Messages Plus, which has largely been primarily a U.S. based service for U.S. based businesses has been receiving many requests from Canadian businesses looking for a better answering service then the services available in Canada. While the company has answered for Canadian businesses, it has never exclusively marketed to Canada. "If Canadian businesses are not satisfied with the type of answering service care they are receiving from local canadian answering services, it makes sense to advertise our services to the Canadian market," said Cecile Williams, president of Messages Plus Answering Service. "If we have a service that is attracting customers from Canada with no direct marketing, streamlining advertising directly to Canadian markets makes perfect sense as it will definitely attract more of our northern neighbors to our service."
The biggest hurdle to an answering service for Canadian businesses is the language barrier. To combat this, Messages Plus has staff members that are bilingual and fluent in both English and French.
